Clothing Alterations and Tailoring in Boise & Meridian
A better fit can make a garment feel new again. Clothesline Cleaners helps with clothing alterations, tailoring, and garment repairs for customers in Boise, Meridian, Ada County, and nearby Canyon County communities.
You can visit one of our three locations, or use pickup and delivery for alteration and repair orders. Place the garment in your route bag with a pinned note or written instructions. If our team needs measurements, a fitting, or approval before work begins, we will contact you and coordinate the next step.
If your garment also needs cleaning, we prefer to clean it first and then alter or repair it. If you only want alteration work, please send the garment clean and dry before drop-off or route pickup.
Our Meridian Road location has an on-site expert seamstress Monday through Friday for in-person fittings, measurements, and more detailed alteration conversations.

Using Route Pickup for Alterations
Alterations and repairs can start right from your route bag. Pin a note directly to the garment or include written instructions in the bag so our alterations team knows what you want reviewed.
If the work depends on fit, measurements, fabric behavior, or personal preference, we will reach out and coordinate the next step. You can always stop by for a fitting when needed, but pickup and delivery is still a good way to start an alteration or repair order.
If you want Clothesline to clean and alter or repair the garment, tell us so we can clean first and alter after. If you only want alteration work, please send the item clean and dry.
Real Alteration Work From Our Team
Alterations are detail work. These are the kinds of garment repairs, linings, and specialty pieces our team handles with care.

Cleaning, Preservation, and Alterations Can Work Together
For wedding dresses and formal gowns, Clothesline can clean before alteration when requested, then help with repairs, fit work, pressing, or preservation as the next step. If you only need alteration work, we can do that too; for delicate or soiled garments, cleaning first is often the better path.
